Job Description
Our stunning community at The Bluffs at Hamilton Hill is seeking a Caregiver to join our team of senior living warriors! Shift: Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat; 10:30pm-6:30am. The Caregiver is responsible for assisting residents in their Daily Living Activities including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, personal and dental hygiene, transportation to meals and activities, bowel and bladder functions, etc., maintaining resident dignity and respect with superior customer service and in accordance with all policies, procedures, regulations and guidelines.
Essential Job Duties:
- Responding to resident needs promptly and kindly.
- Reading and following care plans.
- Assisting residents in daily living activities.
- Providing assistance at mealtime.
- Transporting residents.
- Performing safety checks.
- Encouraging participation in activities.
- Cleaning and laundry.
- Managing oxygen tanks.
- Charting and documenting information.
- Responding to resident alerts, and ensuring resident safety and comfort.
Requirements:
- Age 18 or over with proper work authorization.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Nurses Aid certification preferred.
- Current first aid certification.
- Background clearances, health screening and negative TB test.
- Caregiving experience preferred but training available.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Effective interaction with diverse people.
- Meeting state regulatory requirements.
