Position Overview

• This is a newly established position within our organization.
• A primary focus of this role will be leveraging your skills in your professional skills within the Food Service, Hospitality, Customer Service sector.
• The anticipated compensation for this role is $15-$16/Hour (approx. $315/Week).
• The role is formally based at our Garland, TX office.

Job Summary : BARISTA (PART TIME)

Join our campus team where you are valued and empowered to make a difference. As a Barista, you will make and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. You will handle food according to HACCP guidelines and standards for quality food-service operations and interact with customers and other employees in a friendly, courteous manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Serves customers quickly and efficiently, and prevents delays in serving lines.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers.
